About Pinnit

Pinnit started in 2023, when a few of us realized that finding out what was actually happening at UBC was weirdly hard. Posters you walk past once, Instagram stories that vanish, club emails you never signed up for. So we built the thing we wanted: one place to see what's on this week.

Everyone building it is a UBC student, and nobody makes money from it. It's student-run and not-for-profit — we do it because we think campus is better when more people can find the good things going on.

The goal is simple: more people find events worth showing up to, and clubs that aren't already well known get seen. If you run a club, you can post your events here for free. If you're just looking for something to do this week, that's what the home page is for.
